Tomáš Brányik
University of Chemistry and Technology | Research Institute of Brewing and Malting.Tomas Branyik holds a MSc degree in Bioengineering and PhD in Biotechnology from the University of Chemistry and Technology Prague (UCT Prague). Between 2000-2004 he held a position of post-doctoral fellow at the Department of Bioengineering, University of Minho, Braga, Portugal. He is a full professor at the Department of Biotechnology, UCT Prague and since 2019 is the CEO of Research Institute of Brewing and Malting, Czech Republic. His research interests are in the area of fermentation engineering (especially alcohol-free beers), surface interactions in biotechnologies (adhesion, biofilm formation, flocculation, beer foam, gushing), biopesticides and energy efficient technologies in brewing and malting.
