Graduated in Pharmaceutical Sciences (Pontifical Catholic University of Campinas, Brazil). PhD in Science (Toxigenic Fungi and Mycotoxins, University of Sao Paulo, Brazil). Postdoctoral in Evolutionary Microbiology and Genomics (Plant Pathology Laboratory, Royal Botanic Gardens, Sydney, NSW, Australia). She is currently working as an Assistant Professor, Department of Food Science and Nutrition, Estate University of Campinas. She is currently developing research in projects involving fungal and mycotoxin control in food, feed and beverages, taxonomy and ecology of fungi, evolution and genomics of secondary metabolism.
