Christine Morand

Dr Christine Morand is full research director – research scientist at INRAe, the French National Research Institute for agriculture, food, and environment. She is working in the INRAe-Human Nutrition Unit of Clermont-Ferrand. She leads a group developing research on plant food bioactives from exposure to health effects. She has a long-lasting experience in the field of Nutrition & Health, focusing her research on the role of dietary polyphenols in the prevention of vascular dysfunctions and related diseases, through an integrated approach combining clinical and mechanistic studies. Currently, she is the Chief Editor of the journal Food and Function (Royal Society of Chemistry, Cambridge, UK).
